We love our volunteers at Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity and have been working hard to figure out new and creative ways to thank you. We are pleased to announce the launch of our official online volunteer store!
Make sure you check in each time you volunteer to guarantee your points are being awarded! Every time you check in to volunteer, whether it’s on a home repair or new construction site, a ReStore shift, a committee meeting, or anywhere else with Habitat, you gain points. Your points will be updated monthly in our volunteer management system, and after each update you can see your total when you log in to your account.
You will notice that the prices of items show up as points – some items are obtainable after just a few days of volunteering. Others will be earned through more days on site with us. Points are allocated at the end of each month, and ready to use by the first of the month. If you have volunteered since the 1st, your points will show up for the next month.
